Book It: Building Your Musical Theater Audition
Book It: Building Your Musical Theater Audition
We’ve seen the auditions notices:
“One monologue (no more than 2 minutes) and 16 Bars of a Musical Theater Song.”
Or how about “Two songs: 1 ballad, 1 uptempo. Two Monologues: 1 classical, 1 contemporary.”
And the ever-loving “Prepare one non-musical theater song in the style of the show.”
Where. to. begin?
With Book It: Building Your Musical Theater Audition, you’ll have the opportunity to get professional insight and one-on-one coaching about piece selections, designing your audition (which goes first, the song or the monologue?), and insight on how to walk into the room with an indestructible audition and a wide rep of material to match.
Two packages are available: Build It gives you the opportunity to consult how and where to find pieces, picking the right song for your voice, matching and contrasting styles, as well as one-on-one practice. Book It gives you individual practice sessions with our coaches to discuss your chosen pieces and/or the casting breakdown, and how to nail it!
$200 Build It: Consultation, 2 Zoom coaching sessions, 2 practice sessions
$150 Book It: Consultation, 2 practice sessions
