Eddie Powers never understood the saying "a jack of all trades is a master of none".  They pride themselves as the company's "Swiss Army Knife".  Skilled and adaptive, Eddie is equipped to handle a diverse array of different theatrical endeavors.  As a true Aquarian, this position shows Eddie's deep passion for creativity, learning, and problem solving.  They are a passionate theatre artist and educator dedicated to pushing the boundaries of storytelling. They earned a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a B.A. in History from the University at Buffalo before honing their craft further with an M.F.A. in Acting from Columbia University. Eddie's journey took a transformative turn in 2014 when they traveled to the Grahamstown International Theatre Festival, igniting a deep fascination with the political power of theatre. Ever since, they has been committed to exploring how theatre can challenge, inspire, and redefine perspectives. Based in Manhattan, Eddie teaches theatre at various schools, sharing his love for the art form while continuing to create, innovate, and inspire the next generation of performers.
