Fang Du was born and raised in China until he was 17 years old. He spent the second half of his life in the United States, more specifically Boulder, Colorado. He attended the University of Virginia with the intention of studying business, but his passion for acting pushed him to finish with a degree in Drama. He met this group of fierce artists while pursuing his MFA in acting from Columbia University. His favorite credits include Bun Foo in Thoroughly Modern Millie(national tour), Bedford in Henry V, Jack/Jesus in Reefer Madness and The Lover in Machinal. He has also appeared on TV in Madame Secretary, The Blacklist, Mr. Robot, Two Sentence Horror Stories and The Haves and The Have Nots. Some film credits include In a New York Minute, The Assistant and Tomorrow Comes Today. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and loves traveling, and food! He lives in NYC with his wife and daughter.
