Alinca (pronounced uh-LINK-uh) is a first generation American and native New Yorker born to Jamaican parents; a retired Marine Dad and an Aries for a Mom, not the most understanding combo for a daughter with acting aspirations, but alas, she's here.
Her artistry ranges from being an actor, to going behind the scenes producing, writing and directing. Alinca is committed to marrying her love of the arts with her passion for implementing social change, using theatre and filmmaking as platforms for voices, both soft and loud, to start a conversation.
Alinca holds a BBA in Entrepreneurship from Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business, and an MFA in Acting from Columbia University – School of the Arts.
She could be Gryffindor or Slytherin, depending on the day… so she’s, au fond, Harry Potter.
